The Marshall County Health Nurse, Lisa Lestinger has been working very hard on getting a new Hepatitis A clinic in the county.
The new clinic was conducted at the Marshall County Jail. Last week the Health Department administered 280 vaccinations at the jail.
Christine Stinson, Health Department Administrator said there was lots of discussion prior to the clinic to assure the jail staff of security and necessity. She said the plan to immunize inmates in the various county jails and prisons is a initiative by the Indiana State Department of Health.
