Next_Generation_Hoosier_Scholarships 2018High school seniors and current college students pursuing a career in education can apply for the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship through Nov. 30.

Up to 200 students can receive renewable scholarships of $7,500 a year for a maximum of four years. This scholarship opportunity encourages more high-achieving students to pursue a fulfilling career teaching in Hoosier classrooms.

Applicants must be nominated by a teacher and submit a nomination form with their application, which is available at ScholarTrack.IN.gov. Those interested must also be in the top 20 percent of their high school graduating class or earn a score in the top 20th percentile on the SAT or ACT, attend college in Indiana and teach in a Hoosier classroom for five years after earning a degree.
