A Warsaw man was airlifted for injuries sustained in a single vehicle crash Wednesday morning.
Marshall County Police Officer Les McFarland investigated the crash in the 16,000 block of 9th Road about 1:10 a.m.
40 year old Jeffery Lee Yakimicki was traveling westbound on 9th Road in a 1996 Ford pickup truck when he lost control and hit a NIPSCO pole along with a tree.
Yakimicki was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend by MedFlight for treatment. The accident is still under investigation.
