Saturday morning, September 15th just after 6:00 AM officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a female subject passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle at 9C and Tulip Road.
Once on scene officers made contact with 30 year old Nicole White of Rochester. After an investigation it was discovered White was under the influence of alcohol and over the legal limit. She was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $500 cash bond.
Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
