Miller’s Senior Living Community kicked off National Assisted Living week with their traditional Classic Car Cruise-In. Although the day began with rain, Mother Nature cleared things up by 2:00 p.m. and there was a nice turn out for the cruise-in. Guest DJ Quentin Flagg revved the crowd up with his oldies music as he also entertained with a few vocals and conducted the different games that took place.
Winners of the Twist contest were 5 year old Natalie Guditis and her partner 4 year old Rowan Walters. Tying for first place in the Bubble Gum blowing contest were husband and wife Karen and Dave Gerhke.
The events came to a close as Marketing Director Anna Corbett announced the “Best of Show” winner. Bill Cook of Plymouth proudly accepted his “Best of Show” trophy for his red, 1962 Studebaker Champ. “Best of Show” is selected by spectators voting secret ballot.
