Reith Riley was the lowest bidder of the three companies that submitted bids.  Their bid was $458,856.76 for all seven projects and the city was able to find enough money to do all the projects.

Improvements will be made to Randolph Street from Baker Street north to the River Bridge, Bailey Street from Jackson Street to Shalley Drive, Pearson Place from Hillcrest Avenue to Felix Place, Bayless Street from Webster Avenue to the south alley, Jackson Street from Michigan Street to Bailey, Baker Street from Randolph Street to Columbus Drive and Michigan Street from Lemler to the Oakhill intersection.

Reith Riley was given the notice to proceed on September 5th and anticipates starting on Monday, September 17th with the mill and undercut of Bailey and Jackson Streets.  The entire list of projects is scheduled to be completed by October 10th but the projects are weather dependent.
