Plymouth Color Logo2014The City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings beginning at 6 p.m. tonight in the conference room of the Fire Department.

Members of the Board of Public Works and Safety will affirm the award of the 2018 Street and Sidewalk Fall projects and city department heads will give their reports.

City Engineer Rick Gaul will present a request from Comcast to work in the right-of-way at 500 West Monroe Street for a replacement project and he will discuss the Super 8 project the was completed without approval from the city.

City Attorney Sean Surrisi will present a collection agreement between the city and Eagle Accounts Group while Clerk Treasurer Jeanine Xaver will present request for no parking on the south side of Garro Street near Liberty Street, a request by Carl Stockberger and a request to pay the entertainment for the Latino Fest the day services are provided.

The Common Council is scheduled to begin at 6:30 and includes a public hearing for the pre-adoption of the 2019 Budget.  Also on the agenda is an ordinance for appropriations and tax rates for 2019 on first reading and two resolutions, one to confirm support for the Marshall County Crossroads Stellar Initiative and the Permanent Supportive Housing Development in Plymouth, and the second is approving the creating of the 5th TIF District on Western Avenue for Winona Building.

The meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
