Meth ArrestBremen Police arrested two people Sunday night following a traffic stop.

Patrolman John Tice stopped a vehicle at Plymouth and Stewart Streets at 11:48 p.m.  21 year old Tyler J. McPhail of South Bend and 22 year old Connor D Leonard of Mishawaka were both arrested.

Both suspects were arrested for Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Meth, Possession of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia and lodged in the Marshall County Jail and held on $3,000 each cash bonds.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
