This week the Marshall County Commissioners approve a contract with Mike Miley as a Risk Management Consultant.
For 30 years Miley handled the county’s property and casualty insurance through Gibson Insurance. After his retirement he decided to offer his experience, not only to our county government but he also provides the same service to the City of Plymouth.
The agreement is a month-to-month service contract in the amount of $833 monthly and will begin on October 1st.
Prior to approving the contract the commissioners amended the agreement to specify that he will not be a county employee. The agreement also requires Miley to present quarterly updates at the commissioner meetings.
