Marshall County Coroner, John Grolich released information on a motorcycle death on Saturday.
At approximately 6:00 PM Saturday, August 18th the Marshall County 911Dispatch Center was contacted about a male lying in the roadway. When county officers arrived they discovered the male lying in the roadway and determined he was deceased.
The coroner later identified the man as Harry Thomas “Tom” Parker Jr. age 47.
It appears Mr. Parker was riding a motorcycle southbound on Maple Road south of 4A Road and lost control of his motorcycle and crashed onto the roadway.
Mr. Parker was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:18 pm.
Assisting at the scene were Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputies, LaPaz-North Township Fire, and Union North EMS.
