On Tuesday, August 14, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) will attend events in South Bend, Argos, and Rochester.
At 2:00 p.m., Senator Young will hold a press conference at the Center for the Homeless in South Bend to discuss his new bill that will create a task force on the impact of the affordable housing crisis. Informed by conversations with community leaders across the state, affordable housing is a key plank in Senator Young’s Fair Shot Agenda.
At 3:30 p.m., Senator Young will tour Consolidated Container Company’s factory in Argos to learn more about the business’ growth and discuss issues impacting the manufacturing industry.
At 5:00 p.m., Senator Young will attend the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours event with the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) of Fulton County.
