Randy Head-2012U.S. News and World Report recently ranked Indiana number two  in its Best States for Affordability list.

State Senator Randy Head said, “In second place, we outranked most of our neighboring states, with Michigan at number 4, Kentucky at number 8 and Illinois at number 22.”

Ranking is based on the costs of daily life and housing as well as how much money households have available in each state.

The senator said, “This ranking demonstrates yet another reason the Hoosier State is a great place to live, work and raise a family.”
