mark GidleyMark Gidley is not new to politics, in fact, his family has been involved in the Democratic Party for many years, but Mark has decided to take the next step and filed on the Democratic ticket for County Council District 3 and will face Jack Roose in the November General Election.

Gidley has been married to his wife Deborah (Delp) for 39 years and their son and daughter have blessed them with 8 grandchildren.

Raised on the east side of Center Township, Mark graduated from Plymouth High School and Saint Joseph’s College.  He is a retired community banker.

Mark Gidley served two terms on the Plymouth School Board, has been an active member of the Marshall County Board of Health and past President of the Plymouth Industrial Development Corporation (PIDCO).  He currently represents Center Township residents who reside in Plymouth’s two-mile zone as a member of the Plymouth Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals.

Mark’s motto is, “Leave it better than you found it.”  He believes new voices need to be heard as that elected positions should not be treated as a career or revolving door.

Mark Gidley would greatly appreciate your support in the Tuesday, November 6th General Election.
