sobriety-checkpoints6The Marshall County DUI Task Force conducted a Sobriety Checkpoint on Saturday, July 28 from 9 p.m. till midnight in the 1500 block of North Oak Drive in Plymouth. The results of the sobriety checkpoint:

One hundred fourteen (114) vehicles were stopped while one hundred twenty seven (127) were allowed to pass around the checkpoint.  The average time drivers spent in the checkpoint was under one (1) minute.

Two (2) drivers were given a summons for Driving While Suspended with a Prior, one (1) driver was given a summons for Operating Without Ever Receiving a License, and one (1) driver was given a summons for Possession of Paraphernalia.

Other citations issued included one (1) for Driving While Suspended, two (2) for Seatbelt violations and two (2) for Child Restraint violations.

Marshall County DUI Task Force officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Bremen Police Department, and the Bourbon Police Department worked the checkpoint.
