arrested_handcuffsA Plymouth man was arrested on Wednesday, August 1st after police discovered he was operating a vehicle without an interlock device.

52 year old George M. Marshall was stopped by Plymouth Police about 9:30 in the area of 1600 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.

During the investigation Officer Jerrid Arnold was able to determine that George Marshall had a prior conviction for Drinking and Driving and is required to have an interlock device on the vehicle he’s driving.  The interlock device requires him to blow into a tube similar to a breathalyzer.  If there is no alcohol present the vehicle will start. If the breath smells like alcohol the vehicle will not start.

Mr. Marshall was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.
