MugShot_Victor YakasOn Tuesday July 24, area police officers with the UNIT (Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team) conducted an operation in Plymouth resulting in the arrest of year old 58 Victor Yakas of Plum Street for Dealing in a Narcotic Drug. He was lodged at the Marshall County Jail with a $25,000 bond.

MugShot_Stanley HiteUNIT Officers also arrested 53 year old Stanley Hite of Elm Street in Plymouth at the Dollar General on Oak Drive for Possession of Methamphetamine. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $1500 cash bond.  He posted bond at 1:45 Wednesday and was released with an August 14th court date in Marshall Superior Court II.

Hite is the husband of Plymouth Police Officer and Plymouth Community School Resource Officer Bridget Hite.

217 Water StreetOn Wednesday July 25, UNIT officers, assisted by Marshall County Police and Plymouth Police, conducted a search warrant at 217 Water Street in Plymouth. Officers located and seized approximately 10 ounces of Marijuana, over 100 narcotic prescription pills, a handgun and over $1600 in cash.

MugShot_Robert MohnArrested at the scene was 60 year old Robert Mohn of the Water Street address.  Mohn was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Dealing in a Narcotic Drug Level 2 Felony and held with no bond.

MugShot_Branton, DennisLater on Tuesday evening, UNIT Officers, assisted by Indiana State Police, located and arrested 42 year old Dennis Branton of South Washington Street in Bourbon for Dealing in a Narcotic Drug a Level 4 Felony. He was also found to be possessing Methamphetamine.  Branton was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.  They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
