Earlier this month, Plymouth City Engineer Rick Gaul updated members of the Redevelopment Commission on the Hoham Drive project.

The Hoham Drive improvements include widening the road surface to three lanes, one in each direction and a center turn lane and ancillary items.

Gaul said a meeting was recently held with the County Surveyor to discuss the drainage plan and utility locate requests have been sent out.  The designer has also started the detention analysis.

The project is proposed to run between Michigan Street to approximately 400 feet west of Western Avenue.  Improvements will also be made to the Hoham and Western Avenue intersection.

The current letting date is August 2021 with an estimated construction cost of $2.7 million.
