Trinity United Methodist Church in Plymouth welcomed new pastor Jeff Stueve on July 8. Pastor Jeff recently made the change from full-time professor of Education & Social Sciences at Bethel College and part-time pastor at Granger Good Shepherd United Methodist Church to full-time pastor at Trinity and adjunct professor at Bethel.

Pastor Jeff and his wife, Cathy Wesolek, are excited about moving to Plymouth from Wakarusa and beginning their ministry with the congregation at Trinity. They are interested in church developmentand making God and His unchanging Word relevant and compelling in today’s changing world.  They’re starting their ministry off with several listening sessions with small groups of people from Trinity. Jeff and Cathy are already eager to work with Trinity to be a positive part of the Plymouth community.

Trinity Church minister Stueve2018Jeff and Cathy have two sons. TJ, 24, is a software trainer for Reynolds and Reynolds and Will, 22, recently graduated from Bethel College with degrees in Economics & Finance and Business Administration. They will be residing in Austin, TX.

Pastor Jeff’s first sermon series on Romans 8, “If: Trading Your ‘If Only’ Regrets for God’s What if Possibilities,” will begin July 29 and continue through August 19 at both the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services.
