Bourbon Police Officer Adam Kraning stopped a vehicle at U.S. 30 and North Michigan Street Sunday morning, July 8th about 12:55 a.m. lane for failure to maintain.  While speaking to the driver, 28 year old Tiffany J Helbling of Plymouth the officer noticed possible signs of impairment.

After conducting field sobriety tests, Helbling was detained for a certified chemical test.  She tested positive for opiates and cannabis and was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Legend Drug, Neglect of a Dependent, OWI and Operating while under a controlled substance.

Helbling was lodged in the County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond and given a July 24th court date in Marshall Superior Court II.
