Marshall County Highway crews will start paving 6th Road from Rose Road to Ply-LaPorte Trail. The road will be closed for paving. The construction will take the next 2 to 3 days. 6th Road will be reopened at end of each day, but drivers should expect uneven pavement so drive with caution.
Highway Crew will continue to place primer on roads for surface treatment. Weather permitting on Thursday; Sycamore Road north of US6 to 1st Road will be sprayed. Once completed crews will move to German Township and finish in Bourbon Township. Jason Peters from the county said they plan to have this completed by next week weather permitting.
Crews will be working on paser rating roads for the 2018 asset management plan to update the county’s road asset management plan which is due this year before community crossing matching grant applications are due.
