With more than 8,200 blue ribbons and cash prizes to be awarded, individuals interested in competing at the 2018 Indiana State State FairFair, August 3-19, should register by July 1 at 11:59 p.m., as entry fees will rise at midnight.

Entries are currently being accepted for all Livestock departments, Agriculture & Horticulture, Indiana Arts, Brewers Cup, Baton Twirling, Cheerleading, Youth Talent, Fiddle Competition and Indiana Bred and Owned.

Competitors have the option to enter contest categories that revolve around this year’s State Fair theme “Step Right Up! to The Greatest 17 Days of Summer,” such as the painting category, lego category, cake decorating category and others. The 2018 theme “STEP RIGHT UP! to The Greatest 17 Days of summer,” revolves around Indiana’s rich circus heritage. Online ticket sales are available now, presented by WGU Indiana, at a discounted rate of $8 plus convenience fee on the Indiana State Fair website. Tickets can also be purchased at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum Box Office during regular business hours at the discounted rate. Tickets purchased at the gate are $13.
