PCSC_Summer Food Program 2018June marks the busiest month for the summer food program when families seek help for additional nutrition resources. As a result, Governor Eric J. Holcomb has issued a statewide proclamation this week is Summer Food Service Program week.

Plymouth Community School Corporation is once again proud to participate in the Summer Food Program. Meals will be provided to children 18-years-old and under free of charge at two of our building locations.

Meals are available at Plymouth High School, now through July 27. Breakfast will be served from 7:30- 8:15 a.m., lunch is available from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Please note no meals will be served on the 4th of July.

Meals are also being served at Menominee Elementary School, 815 Discovery Lane, now until June 15. Breakfast is served from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and lunch 11 a.m.- noon.

The Summer Food Service Program is a federal nutrition program funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and administered by the Indiana Department of Education. The program is designed to meet the needs of low-income children in areas where children may have limited access to good nutrition.
