After receiving a Lilly Teacher Creativity Grant, Argos teacher, Jenny Harness, became passionate about the fascinating buildings, artifacts, inventions and innovations from the Worlds Fair: Columbian Exposition held in Chicago in 1893.
Harness has made numerous trips to Chicago to learn more about the topic and add to her collection.
During tomorrow’s June Brown Bag Lunch program discover how this historic event (The Chicago World’s Fair) transformed lives and shaped the world we live in today.
The Brown Bag program at the Marshall County Museum is Friday, June 8 at Noon at the Marshall County Museum.
