Argos Manufacturing Center

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 6th at 11 a.m. at the Manufacturing Center, 151 Dewey Street in Argos.

The Argos Manufacturing Center is a Regional Cities funded project which will bring new industrial business to the area by speeding up the process for a new business to begin operations.

The Argos project was awarded $400,000 in Regional Cities Initiative funding by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation last summer.  It was built within Argos’s 75-acre industrial park which was certified Shovel Ready in 2015.   The building is 50,000 square feet with the capability of expanding to up to 300,000 square feet.

Marshall County’s last manufacturing center in Plymouth was a success, putting Marshall County on the map as a desired location and attracting Pretzels, Inc. to the community in 2016.

Partners for the Argos Manufacturing Center include the Town of Argos, Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Regional Development Authority, Lake City Bank for the project financing, NIPSCO, IMPA, Norfolk Southern Railroad, Majority Builders Inc., Marshall County Commissioners, Marshall County Council, and MCEDC.
