Flood RecoveryMarshall County Emergency Management Director Clyde Avery is reminding flood survivors who have applied for FEMA Individual Assistance to be sure that they submit all the required documentation.

Avery said he was notified that there are a number of survivors who have been identified as having a valid application, but who have not submitted the required documentation and as a result, their application process cannot move forward.

The County EMA Director is also reminding flood victims of the  deadline to apply for assistance and have all documentation turned in.  July 5th is the deadline for the February/March flood event in north central Indiana.

Anyone with questions regarding their specific application or need to apply for assistance should contact a FEMA representative at: 1-800-621-3362 or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for hearing and speech impaired individuals. The toll-free telephone numbers will operate from 7:00am until 9:00pm (local time).
