Students at Triton Elementary School in grades kindergarten through fifth grade got to “step up” to the next grade Thursday.
Triton School Corporation Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said, “They were able to meet the teachers they may have and sit at desks that might be theirs in August.”
Outgoing students wrote letters or created short videos to help orient incoming students.
Sixth grade students returned to their roots in Kindergarten where the teachers helped them reflect on their elementary years by guiding them in creating a book of memories.
