Wednesday evening Plymouth Community School Corporation Superintendent Andy Hartley and members of the school board, Lincoln Junior High staff and students participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Lincoln Junior High.
While dirt has already started to be moved, Hartley said, “While they have started without use, they kind of had to get things going to kick-start the project for the new Lincoln.” He continued, “It’s an exciting time for the school system, it’s an exciting time for this community as often times is the case when you start a new building project and looking towards the future and this building is going to do just that for our kids.”
The superintendent thanked all those involved who have helped to get the school to this point including those working on the design phase, the Lincoln staff and others.
