Marshall County’s Long Term Flood Relief Committee is sponsoring a fundraising event at River Park Square this Saturday, May 19th.
A huge benefit concert is planned from 4 pm till 9 p.m. with five different groups performing: The Ukulele Klub of Elkhart, Cool Change, Slow Orbit, LaLo Cura and Babylon Sneakers a Steely Dan Tribute band. Tickets to the concert are $5 per person or $20 for a family.
This family event will have entertainment by the Plymouth Juggling Club, Bounce House, Photo Booth, Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, and Food Vendors. One dollar tickets for food and activities will be available at the gate.
Everyone is encouraged to wear their I Love My Community t-shirts and if you don’t have one, they will be available for $20 at the event.
This fundraiser will help the Long Term Recovery Committee in their efforts to raise $450,000 to help with the unmet needs of families around Marshall County. These funds will be used to purchase supplies need for volunteers who will come to Marshall County and help rebuild homes that were damaged in the February Flood.
