City NEwsThe Plymouth Common Council held a public hearing for additional appropriations during their meeting Monday evening.

City Clerk Treasurer Jeannine Xaver said the additional are $100,000 for the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, replacing the money previously approved for expenditure for Flood Relief.

Another General Fund additional totaled $115,200.  It was explained as $4,200 needed to extend the current rental of 1800 North Michigan Street, the temporary city offices because the City Hall renovation project is behind schedule.  $96,000 is for fees for the Aquatics Center and $15,000 as the major sponsor of the Catch the Spirit Gala for Saint Joseph Health Systems with West Township and Center Township contributing $2,500 each to the sponsorship. Mayor Senter explained that the benefactors from the Gala will be all three ambulances in the city.  They will be getting major technology upgrades and equipment upgrades to offer improved services to patients.

The total Additional Appropriation Resolution was for $215,200.
