The Marshall County Council meets Monday morning at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
The agenda includes Tax Abatement compliance forms for Homestead Dairy for personal property, Houin farms for real estate, four for Faulkner Fabricating two are for real estate and two for personal property and Headsight Inc. for personal property.
Commissioner Kurt Garner chair of the Long Term Flood Recover Committee is on the agenda and Sheriff Matt Hassel will seek a waiver of the probationary pay for an employee. James Bendy from the Probation Department will discuss the possibility of a part time probation officer and Jerry Chavez, Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Commission will present the 2017 Annual Report.
County Auditor Julie Fox will present a request for a Deputy Auditor and she will also present additional appropriations and transfer requests.
The County Council meeting is open to the public although comments and questions are limited to the first order of business.
