MugShot_Stephen Miller (1)A Lucerne, IN man was arrested Friday night, May 4th after county police conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation in the 10,000 block of US 31.

Just before midnight County Police Officer Nick Laffoon stopped a vehicle and found that the driver, 23 year old Stephen J. Miller III appeared to be under the influence. 

 An OWI investigation began and Mr. Miller failed the field sobriety tests and a portable breath test.  He was then transported to the Marshall County Jail where he failed a certified breath test. 

Stephen J. Miller III was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated as a level 6 Felony.

K9 Officer Andrew Wozniak of the Marshall County Police Department assisted with the investigation.
