Primary ElectionsIt’s Primary Election Day in Indiana.  The polls will be open until 6 p.m. tonight for registered voters.

Marshall County has 12 Vote Centers and registered voters are able to vote at any one of the Vote Centers.  In Argos you can vote at the United Methodist Church at 570 North Michigan Street.  In Bourbon voting is held in Triton High School and in Bremen you can vote at the Bremen High School or the Bremen Missionary Church.  The vote center in Culver is located at the Culver Depot while in LaPaz voters can stop at the LaPaz Fire Station.

Plymouth has the largest number of Vote Centers in the County with 4.  Voters can vote at the Knights of Columbus which will host 2 of the vote centers this election only.  Voting will also be available at the Marshall County REMC building or Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church on State Road 17 west of town.

Another Vote Center is available in Tippecanoe at the Community Building or in Tyner at their Community Building.

Voters need to remember that you are not required to vote at a specific vote center; you can vote at the most convenient location for you.  You must choose which party you will be voting for in the primary election and you must bring a photo ID issued by the State of Indiana or the US Government.  In most cases, an Indiana driver license, Indiana photo ID card, Military ID or US Passport is sufficient.

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles branches will be open today until 6 p.m. to issue ID cards and driver’s licenses to be used for identification at a polling place.
