On April 23, 2017 the Plymouth Police Department received a report regarding a sexual assault to a 13 year old female that allegedly happened in September of 2016.
The suspect was identified as 20 year old Edgar Herrera of Plymouth.
Detective Leo Mangus with the Plymouth Police Department investigated further and charges of Child Molesting as a Level 3 Felony were filed by the Prosecutor’s Office.
An Arrest Warrant was issued for Edgar Herrera on May 4 and he was arrested and booked in the Marshall County Jail on May 7. Herrera is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
