MuggShot_Stanley-Martin, JermaineOn the morning of Wednesday, May 2nd, the Plymouth Police Department received reports from two downtown businesses that forced entry had been made into these establishments and items were stolen from the interior of them.

Detective Sergeant Leo Mangus investigated further and located video from nearby businesses. Video showed two male subjects carrying stolen items. One of the subjects was recognized from the video and the other subject was later identified from investigation.

Both subjects; 20 year old Jermaine Stanley-Martin and an undisclosed juvenile were located at the Skylane Apartments in Plymouth on the afternoon of May 3.  Both subjects jumped off the second floor deck in the back of the apartment as the detective was talking to the tenant. They were eventually arrested in the area after fleeing from Police.

On the morning of May 4 most of the stolen property was recovered from a residence in the 1300 block of West Jefferson Street in Plymouth.

Jermaine Stanley-Martin is currently in the Marshall County Jail. His bond has been set at $50,000 cash and his initial hearing has been scheduled for May 15. The juvenile has been placed at a Juvenile Detention facility.
