I votedMarshall County Clerk, Deb VanDeMark updated members of the County Election Board on absent voting for the May Primary.

As of 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1st a total of 693 registered voters have voted in one form or another.  135 have voted using the Travel Board while 90 mailed in their ballots.  The clerk’s office has had 428 walk-in voters during normal business hours of 8 to 4 and last Saturday from 8 till 3.  The two satellite voting centers, one in Bremen had 17 voters on Saturday and the one in Culver had 23 voters last Saturday.

Register voters can vote in the Clerk’s Officer during normal business hours this week and until noon on Monday, May 7th and this Saturday from 8 till 3.   The two satellite voting centers; in Bremen and Culver will be open this Saturday from 8 to 3.

When looking at a comparison from the 2016 presidential Primary there were 1,643 voters in the same time frame.
