This past week, Triton Scholars, Drew Stichter and Matthew Hefner were recognized along with 38 of their peers for their outstanding work on the football field and in the classroom at the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Moose Krause Chapter.
Triton School Corporation Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said, “It is nights like these that help you realize how vital our young people are to society and how there are students in our communities that are trying to make a difference every day.” He went on to say, “Continue to encourage your son and daughter to represent everything that is good in the world, as they will be our next business owners, teachers, doctors, nurses, entrepreneurs, moms, dads, husbands, wives and the list goes on and on.”
The annual event, which recognizes outstanding prep football student-athletes and coaches, was held on April 25 at the St. Hedwig Memorial Center on Western Avenue in South Bend\
Superintendent Riffle closed by saying, “Thank you Matthew and Drew for being Uncommon and representing your family, school, and community well. Great Job, We are all very proud of you! Trojan PRIDE, The Trojan Way!”
