Accepting Check Joe Skelton Howard Connor Tom SmithThe Arrow Head Country Resources Conservation & Development met in Winamac, recently to award over $49,000 in grants to 15 groups from 6 counties in the RC&D area.  Arrow Head awarded $3,000 to Marshall County Soil & Water Conservation District for their 2018 programs and workshops.

Arrow Head Country Resource Conservation and Development Area (RC&D) Inc. is a non-profit organization made up of Cass, Fulton, Jasper, Kosciusko, Marshall, Miami, Newton, Pulaski, Starke and White counties in Indiana.  Arrow Head Country RC&D has given over $235,000 in grants during the past 4 years to all 10 member counties.

The purpose of the organization is to provide local leadership for developing and carrying out a plan for the orderly conservation, improvement, development and wise use of the natural resources, thereby improving the quality of life for all the people living in the area.
