Triton_tie blanketsSarrah Davis, the resource teacher at Triton Jr. Sr. High School is working with her students in grades 7 through 12 who want to do a service project.  The students have decided to make 50 lap blankets for the residents at Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home and Pilgrims Manor in Plymouth.  In order to do this, they need  businesses to sponsor them.

They are reaching out to local businesses in Bourbon and the surrounding area to see if anyone would be willing to sponsor part of project by making a donation.  They have an estimated cost of $500 to cover materials needed for the project.

A video was created by the students to help promote the “Blanket the Community with Kindness” project.

Financial donations can be made to the Triton High School through Superintendent Jeremy Riffle or by donating material or gift cards to fabric stores at Triton High School.
