The Starke County Prosecutor’s Office charged 19-year-old Thomas Holloway, the son of Plymouth Community School Corp. board vice president Larry Holloway, with rape, sexual misconduct with a minor and child exploitation on Monday.
Jail officials said Thursday Holloway turned himself into authorities at the jail on Wednesday and was booked-in shortly before 5 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the charges were not available late Thursday, but the crimes are alleged to have been committed on July 3, according to publicly available court filings.
It wasn’t immediately known when Holloway will be arraigned on the charges. Jail officials said he could make an initial court appearance as early as Friday.
The most serious charge against Holloway, the rape count, is a Level 3 felony punishable by three to 16 years if convicted.
