Marshall County Soil and Water Conservation District will host a public discussion with Nate Thomas, Indiana DNR Lakes Permitting Biologist. The discussion on Shoreline Health will be held on Thursday. Thomas will discuss the types of seawalls and their pros and cons, what is a healthy shoreline and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources jurisdiction and permitting.
Thomas will be speaking at The Wild Rose Moon, 115 North Michigan Street on April 19th at 7:00 pm. This talk is open to anyone in the area who would like to learn more about this topic.
