MugShot_Dashawn JohnsonOn Sunday, April 15th, at approximately 9:40 in the evening, Marshall County Deputies were
dispatched to the area of US 31 and 12th Road for a single vehicle accident with unknown injuries.

When Officer Smith arrived on the scene he found the driver of the vehicle, 18 year old Dashawn Johnson of South Bend to be in possession of marijuana.  He was also determined to be under the influence during the time of the accident.

Johnson was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Possession of Marijuana and Operating a vehicle While Intoxicated.  He was held on a cash bond of $1,500.

Marshall County Deputies were assisted by the Indiana State Police and the Argos Police
Department.
