On Friday April 6, Officer Chad Beatty with the Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop at the corner of Baker and Michigan Streets for a lane violation.
The driver, 39 year old Andy Koontz of Plymouth was taken for a certified chemical test. It was determined Koontz was three times the legal limit. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for Operating While Intoxicated. Bail was set at $1,500.
