A yearlong drug investigation by the Knox Police Department called “Operation Orthodox” resulted in the arrest of ten people.

Starting about 7:15 Sunday morning, April 8th approximately 30 police officers served Felony Narcotic Arrest warrants in Plymouth and Starke County.  “Operation Orthodox” was a joint effort between multiple agencies including the Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Knox Police Department, North Judson Police and Plymouth Police.

As a result of this investigation ten people are currently incarcerated in the Starke County and Marshall County Jails.

6)    David Miller, 50 for Dealing in a schedule III controlled substance as a level 6 felony and Dealing in a schedule III controlled substance as a level 6 felony

7)    Jeremy Knew, 37  of Plymouth for Possession of methamphetamine as a level 6 felony; Possession of paraphernalia as a class C misdemeanor; Visiting a common nuisance as a class B misdemeanor and Possession of a schedule III controlled substance as a class A misdemeanor.  He was held on a $171 cash bond.

8)    Tyler Ramenda,24 of Lakeville for Possession of Methamphetamine as a level 6 felony; Possession of Paraphernalia as a class c misdemeanor and Visiting a common nuisance as a class b misdemeanor. He was held on a $500 cash bond in the Marshall County Jail.

9)     Kenneth Lain, 38 of Plymouth for Possession of Methamphetamine as a level 6 felony; Possession of Scheduled III controlled substance as a class a misdemeanor; Possession of Paraphernalia  as a Class c misdemeanor and Maintaining a common nuisance as a  level 6 felony. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.

10)    Tiffany Milton-Coburn, 29 of Plymouth for Possession of Methamphetamine as a level 6 felony; Maintaining a common nuisance as a level 6 felony and Possession of Paraphernalia as a class c misdemeanor.  She was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Four of the suspects were booked into the Marshall County Jail and the six others were booked into the Starke County Jail.    Formal charges are pending with the prosecutors in both counties.
