State Representative Jack Jordan said in his latest news release, “Under strong Republican leadership and sound fiscal policies, Indiana’s already robust economy continues to grow and more Hoosiers are finding meaningful employment.”Jordan commented, “Indiana ranks first in the Midwest with a 3.2 percent unemployment rate, putting us 12th-best nationally. That’s very close to the state’s all-time low unemployment rate of 2.9 percent nearly 18 years ago, and almost a full point below the national average of 4.1.”Indiana continues to attract the national spotlight. The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis said Hoosiers’ 2017 income increased by three percent.  Forbes recently ranked Indiana in its top 10 of Best States for Business.Jack Jordan said, “We have worked hard to keep taxes low, reduce regulations and live within our means. We will continue to support policies that help grow our economy for hardworking Hoosiers.”

Representative Jordan closed his comments saying, “To keep up this momentum, it is critical we invest in Hoosier workers so we have the workforce we need.
