The Marshall County Council meets Monday morning at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building. Agenda for their meeting includes Sheriff Matt Hassel requesting overtime wages for security in the County Building. Hassel told the Commissioners that when the current security officer is off he doesn’t not have enough staff to fill the position. He’s seeking an additional to allow for off-duty officers from the jail to fill the position.
Marshall County Veterans Service Officer Pan Schweizer Betz will discuss at home professional training while Prosecutor Nelson Chipman will request the waiver of probationary pay for a new employee in his department.
Also on the agenda for the County Council meeting are transfer requests, additional appropriation request, County Auditor’s report and two resolutions to transfer funds for community crossings Beech Road and South Michigan Road.
