Nostalgic Narratives Dinner 2018The Marshall County Historical Society will host their Nostalgic Narrative Dinner at Christo’s Banquet Center on Friday, April 27.  This year’s program entitled “The War to End all Wars:  Culver’s Captivating Connection,” features a fascinating presentation by Culver Academies’ Jeff Kenney and Gary Christlieb.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of WWl. Culver Military Academy’s role, with its amazing leadership, proved to significantly impact the launch of national and international endeavors such as the ROTC program.  Much of the Academies’ culture and campus was shaped around The Great War, with nearly 3,500 graduates sent to battle.

This year an additional attraction during the social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 PM will feature WWl and WWll collector and re-enactor, Greg Champion, sharing part of his authentic collection before the program with dinner to follow.

Tickets for the 2018 Nostalgic Narratives Dinner are $35 for Marshall County Historical Society members and $40 for nonmembers and are available at the Marshall County Museum, 123 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth.
