Light snow is expected to move into portions of northern Indiana and southern Lower Michigan this evening, tapering off during the overnight hours. At the present time, locations north of Route 30 will see the greatest chance to see 1 to 3 inches of wet snow with the potential for locally higher amounts. Temperatures will be near or below freezing which may cause slippery conditions for the Friday morning commute.
Motorists should be prepared to allow extra time Friday morning heading to work or school.
