MugShot_thelore gillespieThe Marshall County Police Department received a report of a fight in progress at the Pilot Truck Stop at US 30 and 9A Road east of Plymouth Tuesday morning April 3rd.

 County Police were dispatched about 10:30 and when they arrived they found that the victim was assaulted with a hammer stemming from a road rage incident that occurred on US 30 near Valparaiso.

The victim was injured but refused medical treatment.

The suspect, 32 year old Thelore A Gillespie of New Jersey was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury. He was held on a $2,250 cash bond. 

The Marshall County Police Officers were assisted by officers from the Plymouth Police Department and the Indiana DNR.
