On Saturday morning March 31, at approximately 6:15 the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a call of a single vehicle property damage accident on US 6 a couple miles west of Michigan Road.

Officer Brouyette with the Sheriff Department was notified and responded to investigate the collision. Officer Brouyette located the collision on US6 just east of Queen Road, within Marshall County. During his investigation it was learned that the vehicle, a 2014 Infinity SUV and was being operated by Beth Wetherill of Fort Wayne.

It was determined that the vehicle was traveling west on US6 when a deer ran onto the roadway and into the driver`s side front portion of the vehicle causing substantial damage.

The driver and 4 passenger were wearing their safety belt at the time of the collision and as a result no injuries were sustained.

Reichert`s & Knepp Wrecker Service was contacted to assist with the removal of the vehicle.
