arrested_handcuffsSaturday morning about 12:30 Plymouth Police Officer Jeremy Enyart observed a vehicle traveling east bound on Jefferson Street west of Plum travel up onto the curb and back into the east bound lane.   The suspect vehicle made a left turn northbound on North Plum Street.

Officer Enyart attempted to make a traffic stop and the suspect driver failed to stop. The vehicle turned onto Monroe Street and then north on Plum Street.   During the pursuit the suspect driver narrowly missed colliding into several parked vehicles.   The suspect ultimately pulled into the rear yard at the corner of Walnut and Novelty Streets.

After several commands the female driver, 28 year old Mayte R. Jimenez DeArroyo exited the vehicle and was taken into custody.

During the investigation Jimenez De Arroyo was found to have a blood alcohol content of more than twice the legal limit.  She was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Resisting Arrest with a Vehicle and Operating While Intoxicated Endangering and held on a $1505 cash bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
